Azerbaijan to Host World Telecommunication Development Conference 2025 in Baku
Global ITU event to focus on digital transformation, innovation, and youth empowerment
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has announced that the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC) 2025 will be held in Baku from 17 to 28 November 2025. This milestone marks the first time the conference will take place in the CIS region, reflecting Azerbaijan’s growing leadership in global digital development and innovation.
Held every four years, WTDC brings together over 1,500 participants from approximately 150 countries, including government representatives, private sector leaders, and civil society. The conference serves as a key platform to shape the future of telecommunications and bridge the global digital divide.
